This residential and retail project is situated at the gateway to Mountain Village, in the Telluride area. The design of Silverline’s half million sq. ft. was guided by a respect for the stunning beauty of the 9,500 foot elevation and aspen-covered setting. To minimize mass, the space is distributed over three buildings, each layered to echo the strong horizontal lines of the landscape, stepped to suggest the flow of ascending mountains. Indigenous materials – cedar and Telluride stone – and expansive glass facades reflect the surrounding texture, forms and color. Silverline offers inviting public space – a plaza and open fire pit surrounded by retail and restaurant space, crowned by 84 residential units ranging from 1,500 to 6,200 sq.ft.
