Located in Midtown Manhattan, this project transformed the entire 11th floor of a 16-storey Garment District building into a single-family residence that serves as a home, office and venue for large-scale entertaining. Capitalizing on existing south-facing setbacks and 23 very large windows, the design creates two zones: an outer public space flowing openly along the unobstructed perimeter and a private inner space, housed within a seemingly free-standing cube set at an angle to the outer walls.
